Drama
Drama was a significant part of my undergraduate career, inside and outside the classroom. While in college, I took classes in all areas of theatre, acted in numerous plays, directed, and held leadership positions as the Executive Director of the Undergraduate Theater Society and the President of the Drama BA Council.
On this portfolio, I have chosen to highlight three classes, Creating Drama, Intro to Directing, and African American Women Playwrights, and I have included an annotation and artifact for each one. These classes represent a performance class, a directing class and a theory/history class and provide an illustration of some of the work I did as a drama major.
In addition to acting in five Undergraduate Theater Society plays, and four with the School of Drama, I also directed a production of Cyrano with the Undergraduate Theater Society as an Experiential Learning Project. For more about the my acting and theater administration experience (including photos of productions), visit my theater website.
